SAM organised a musical tribute dedicated to the soldiers of Indian defence forces at Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi named ‘Battle of Bands - Schools edition’. 7 school bands from Delhi NCR participated and students of 12 schools attended the event. The event saw powerful theme based performance by young budding musicians with Amity International School, Gurugram won the competition. Colonel V.N. Thapar (father of Kargil martyr Captain Vijayant Thapar) and K.G. Suresh (D.G., I.I.M.C.) inspired the young students with their motivational speeches. SAM recently conducted its latest edition of Culture Connect Conclave with students of DAV School, Dwarka for the second time. The batch of about 250 students got an opportunity to experience first-hand various aspects of Indian culture through the activities planned by SAM. The conclave started with a high energy patriotic dance performance by SAM dance group. The uniquely designed nature tour included a visit to Kamdhenu Gaushala. The students fed the cows and calves, bringing them closer to nature. SAM celebrated the Indian New Year in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts at their sprawling campus at  Janpath, New Delhi. The cultural evening brought together some incredible performances to bring the young audience closer to their rich culture and heritage. SAM's cultural extravaganza of CCC is a big hit among school students from the city. Students of KRM World school recently participated in an exclusive edition of Culture Connect Conclave for the third consecutive time. An engaging and enriching culture walk and nature tour was organised by Team SAM. Students felt one with nature and got a chance to closely experience various aspects of Indian culture. A range of activities such as pottery making, rangoli making, conch playing and several Indian traditional games were organized.
