India’s rich cultural heritage is unparalleled in the world. Our culture is indispensable to restoring glory to our vibrant country. Preserving Indian cultural heritage is the most voguish modus operandi of SAM to re-connect youth with the magnificent Indian past.

Henceforth, SAM invited around 250 students and 40 teachers of K.R.Manglam World School, Delhi at Divya Dham Ashram, Delhi under its initiative “Culture Heritage Preservation”. The program was facilitated with a view to connect the students to the pristine Indian Culture and to offer them a closer look into the Indian Heritage. The program began with an introductory talk by SAM Representative about the organization and its founder His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji. She also expatiated on the multi-faceted approach of DJJS for the holistic development of today’s youth through its youth engagement program – SAM. Then the visiting team was given an enriching and educative tour of the ashram premises which included special slots at the gaushala and other pets being raised there.  The students were also offered organic food grown within the ashram fields. Adding to the joyous experience of the students, Eternal Bliss – The fusion band of SAM enthralled the audience with their mesmerizing music while they learnt the message the songs carried, the children enjoyed whole heartedly. Towards the end, the students donated a cow to the organisation and performed the yagya facilitating “Gau-daan” – a vedic tradition of supporting preservation of Indian cow breeds.

The School’s faculty also shared their experience “Workshops like SAM must happen in schools frequently. They are instrumental in reinstating moral values and ethos which are of utmost significance in Education”. The students were also elated to share their experience “I was really reticent about the idea of visiting a spiritual ashram but after coming here I don’t regret my decision rather I’m thankful to SAM for such an enriching experience” said Class XI student, K R Manglam World School.
